The Secure File Sharing System was developed to provide a safe, efficient, and user-friendly platform for exchanging digital files within a tertiary institution. Students, lecturers, and administrators often share sensitive materials such as assignments, lecture notes, research papers, and administrative documents. Traditional methods of sharing—such as email attachments, flash drives, or public cloud services—pose serious risks, including unauthorized access, malware attacks, and data corruption.
This project introduces a web-based solution that integrates user authentication, role-based access control, and modern encryption algorithms (AES, DES, Blowfish) to ensure files are protected during storage and transmission.
